n the U.S. alone, over 11.3 trillion tons of textile waste gets thrown away each year. That’s approximately 2,150 items of clothing each second. That’s why our items are cut and sewn in small batches. This avoids overproduction that could end up in landfills.
It also gives us the unique opportunity to support small enterprises rather than working with large factories. We visit our tailors weekly to check in with them, and we get to know them each personally. We’ve seen the small factory that we work with buy new machines and hire more tailors regularly over the last two years as they slowly expand to keep up with our production.
